Principal Qualifications

Grant Freeman has almost three decades of experience in the commercial real estate industry, including brokerage and related advisory services, senior finance positions with developers and investors, and public accounting. Prior to forming Freeman Realty Company, he was a managing director in the capital markets group of Jones Lang LaSalle and The Staubach Company. In that capacity, he specialized in representing corporate and other occupiers in sale-leasebacks and other corporate real estate dispositions, acquisitions, build-to-suits, ownership vs. leasing strategy and related transaction execution, and other advisory assignments.

Prior to joining The Staubach Company, he was chief financial officer of Makar Properties. In addition to performing traditional accounting and tax functions, he was actively involved in project financing, asset management, leasing and dispositions for the office portfolio, and other asset management and sales and marketing functions for various product types, including residential, hotel, retail and land development for mixed-use projects.
