Principal Qualifications

Grant Freeman has approximately 40 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, including brokerage and related advisory services, senior finance positions with developers and investors, and public accounting. Prior to forming Freeman Realty Company in 2011, he was a managing director in the capital markets group of Jones Lang LaSalle and The Staubach Company. In that capacity, he specialized in representing corporate and other occupiers in sale-leasebacks and other corporate real estate dispositions, acquisitions, build-to-suits, ownership vs. leasing strategy and related transaction execution, and other leasing and advisory assignments.

Prior to joining The Staubach Company, he was chief financial officer of Makar Properties. In addition to performing traditional accounting and tax functions, he was actively involved in project financing, asset management, leasing, sales and marketing, and dispositions for office, residential, hotel, retail, mixed-use and land development projects.
